Tuscarawas SWCD educational programs promote the conservation and protection of our many natural resources by using activities such as: Presentations for community organizations and clubs Classroom activities and presentations for K-12 Guided learning visits to the Norma Johnson Center A lending library of books and videos involving natural resources Classroom interactive models for loan or presentation - Ground Water Model, Streamulator, and Enviroscapes * Emphasis is placed on soil, water, ecosystems, wildlife, and forestry in these activities.
