Pasture Walk - Coshocton County Thursday, May 27, 2010
The Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCDs) and Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) of Carroll, Columbiana, Coshocton, Harrison, Jefferson, Mahoning & Tuscarawas Counties will be hosting a pasture walk at Matt Graham's Farm in Newcomerstown (23519 St Rt 751) on May 27th, 2010 Pasture walks will continue on the 4th Thursday of each month and will be rotated between the following counties: Carroll, Columbiana, Coshocton, Harrison, Jefferson, and Tuscarawas County. Watch your local papers and SWCD Newsletters for information each month!

Grazing Field Day - October 3
Spring Pond Clinic
Thursday, June 24, 2010 - 6pm to 8pm
The pond clinic will be held at the Picnic Shelter back Conservation Drive at the Norma Johnson Center located in Dover, OH. Speakers for the evening will include Bill Lynch, OSU Aquatic Ecosystem Management Specialist, Steve Fender, Fenders Fish Hatchery, and Wade Dunlap, ODNR Wildlife Officer. They will be covering a variety of such as Pond Stocking Rates, Vegetation Control & Aeration, and Nuisance Wildlife. Open Discussion & Questions will be held at the end. If you are interested please RSVP by June 22 by calling our office at 330-339-7976.
