Education Statement

Tuscarawas SWCD educational programs promote the conservation and protection of our many natural resources by using many fun and educational activities.

Available at Our Office

Groundwater Model: A hands-on visual aid that takes difficult groundwater concepts and makes them understandable.

Enviroscape: A model that teaches on overall watershed concepts.

Streamulator: A large model of a stream that simulates changes in a natural stream such as sediment transport, erosion, etc.

Animal Pelts: A trunk full of Ohio Animal Pelts that can be touched and teaches on Ohio animals.

* The above models are available to be signed out for you to use in your classrooms/programs, etc..
